Made about 3 stupid mistakes but really enjoyed it, knee wasnt to bad =)

Overall really really enjoyed Badaguish, so much fun and got lots of good ideas and stuff out of it =)

Went out on a leg planning excerise, then knee was hurting so walked round doing map memory with Lecky, then felt really frustrated with not having ran properly in ages so ran fast all the way up the hill on another short exercise and back =)

warm down with Owens which ended up being a walk, then a sprint up the steep hill against Holmes, I won =D

LOVE this area so much!!
Did a simplification excerise (remarkable features), then a longer excersise in a harder scale which was pretty hard!!! Then walked round a small exercise in the green =) really good =)

Tried a VERY short jog across the field yesterday, was very painful =( but doesnt feel any worse from it after or now so thats good =)

Ok so knee is finally feeling a bit better, improving slowly, still hurting but not to much, and now I have a cold AGAIN!! I really think I'm cursed =( AND why wont it stop raining?!

just an easy bike ride to test out my knee, definatly hurt more after but think it will be ok, can walk normally again now apart from down stairs so thats good!

Knee felt much better today which was unexpected but good! Could walk normally, hurt but atleast my knee was bending.
Went to the physio, and she said the stuff under my knee cap had been compressed and over used at the saunders so had got all inflamed so was a lot of trapped fluid that was making it painful to bend because it presses on the underside of the kneecap
But the cartilage and ligiments are fine so nothing serious, she said not to run for the week, but gentle cycles just every other day, and to stretch my quads =)
Also looked at my hip/groin and gave me stretches to do because it was really tight but that will be fine to =)

And she said running at badaguish should be fine, even if it is painful it wont make it any worse running on it so thats good =D

Attempted D of E at the weekend, was pretty epic! My friend ended up carrying my pack as well as hers because my knee was killing so was hobbling along at the back, then was even worse the next day so we had to stop.
Now can only just walk on it reallyyyyyyy slowly and cant bend it at all with out a lot of pain =(

Going to the phisio tomorrow morning though, but REALLY hope it isnt major and will be ok by badaguish!!! =S

Leg is still really painful at the top and on my other knee, just walking! So still cant get back into training =( first ill then injured!!

Legs REALLY sore, both knees really painful and top of left leg as well, so limping and trying to avoid walking - sore back as well!!!
But pain is weakness leaving the body I suppose =P

Running race (Saunders) 3:34:00 [3] 18.2 km (11:45 / km) +690m 9:53 / km

Day 2
Late for the start again, which lost us time this time because it was a timed start so lost about 4 mins, ended up starting just about the same time as the other mixed team behind us which was interesting!

Pouring with rain and very windy, but pulled away from the people behind by no2. Then no3, which was at the 'top' of a gully on a really steep slope over rocks we made a mistake, must have gone right by the control because we where slightly low then went all the way to the top of the gully, only to find we had gone past it! I was struggling at this point because of the wind and the ground and just everything stiffening up

Got away from most of the group but only just ahead of the next mixed pair and where running with them at 5 and 6, then at 6 made another major mistake, which ended up working in our favour because everyone else did the same thing but we relocated well while they ended up quite far behind!!! So if it hadnt been for that mistake we probably wouldnt have kept ahead =)

Pretty much clean from then onwards, but I was really struggling because top of my left leg was really painfull to lift up which wasnt good in tussocks and hills, and legs where just completly stiffened up with cold and tired so really hard to keep trudging along

But good in the end, completly soaked but 1st mixed team =D lashing it down with rain and really windy so ended up just collecting our prize and going home =)

Running race (Saunders) 3:42:00 [3] 20.0 km (11:06 / km) +800m 9:15 / km

Did the Harter Fell class with Dad, the one up from what we did last year =)
Got to the start late so started around the same time as another mixed pair and kept seeing them at the start but managed to loose them after no3
Navigation was really good, clean run so that saved us a lot of time, running well until the last control which was about 4 km with about 255m climb which was so tiring and where both lacking in energy a bit, then a really steep run in down to the camp which i ended up sitting down and sliding down =D
Pretty tired at the end, sore back but ok =) was there by 12 anyway so just went and slept for a few hours =D
Later was really feeling the muscle at the very top of my left leg but not to bad =)

First mixed team in though, and 5th over all!! 4mins in front of the next mixed team =)
