So much fun! Love love love it. Was working those clean and press's.
Was going to do a really light weight on the legs then go for a jog, but realised I wouldn't be able to fit a run in anyway so did normal weights and will go running in the morning.

GOGA Orienteering at Bramley Woods. Just running around between the different groups of people and checking that they were ok - had such a fun evening!!! Great event :)

Cycling (Pedal to Prague training) 6:00:00 [3] 66.0 mi (5:27 / mi) +700m 5:17 / mi

Mega training ride to York and back. Pretty slow as we kept having to stop and start for punctures, getting lost etc, took agessss to get there. Felt pretty fresh for the first third of the ride, then got really hungry. Felt a bit better after the chippy stop in York, but then just crashed and the rest of the ride seemed like a massive slog! Everyone felt that same though, we went the wrong way so ended up on a horrible slow hilly route back.
Realised once I got back that I felt really really cold, took me ages to warm up and felt awful!
It was good but it killed me off a bit - struggling with ANOTHER cold now. But, Tour de Yorkshire next weekend woop!

Running race (Christie Cup) 11:59 [5] 3.0 km (4:00 / km) +3m 3:58 / km

Christie Cup in Liverpool, 3 km relay.
Wasn't sure how it was gonna go considering Saturday, but actually ran really well! A couple of niggles but generally ok and felt pretty good really!
The worst sort of race (flat), and really tough as it was so fast - halfway through I would have traded it with another 19km any day! BUT afterwards I really enjoyed it ha!
And really pleased with my time. Think it was actually a few metres under 3km in the end but not sure as my garmin started late...

Wasn't going to run today as just focusing on recovering BUT my flatmate decided over Easter to try out running so I took him on a jog down Woodhouse Ridge - fun! Hopefully I didn't put him off, we just did a mixture of jogging and walking. Beautiful day :)

Legs feeling sore, but not as sore as expected! Just resting completely as still don't feel 100% even though the cough seems to be on its way out. Will do a big stretch tonight to loosen up.

What a day!
Knew it was probably a bad idea to race as I have had this chesty cough, but just really really really wanted to try it and see how it went. Also had a slightly dodgy stomach in the morning.
Once I'd got going my chest was actually fine, I was running really well and absolutely loving it! By the end it just felt like a bit of a slog but I was expecting that, also felt a bit dodgy/just wanted to lie down but was expecting that as well.
However at the finish I just felt awful, massive headache and didn't want to eat anything (which never happens). So we just went home.
Anyway was sick in the car on the way home, and just got straight into bed once home as felt horrendous. After a few hours and a bath felt slightly better, and after dinner felt almost-fine again!
THEN realised I'd won the Under 23's prize wahooo!

Definitely did not do me any good, BUT overall I really really enjoyed it and was glad to have done it anyway, lots of fun :)

Just needed to get out!!! Jogged a bit really slowly on the flat and some of the downhill, but just walked most of it as lungs are really bad still. NEED TO GET BETTER BEFORE SATURDAY!!!

Wasn't meant to run today but it was SUCH a nice day, and my bike is still getting fixed.
Enjoyed it SO much today, could have ran for hours even though my legs did feel a bit tired/niggly. Literally in heaven.

Nice gentle walk with the parentals around the Anniversary Waltz route that me, Dad and Charlotte are going to do next weekend. Beautiful day, so nice to be out in the sunshine! Felt tired at the end but fine now, felt long enough to be pretty challenging but still definitely manageable and hopefully will be able to keep a good pace up! Excited for next Saturday :)

FINALLY got back from the Isle of Man last night - such a fun weekend but absolutely exhausted now. Was going to go for a jog today but decided against it as if I DID, think I would get ill, just sitting on the line between well and on my way to a bad cold at the moment. Having a day out on the hill tomorrow so didn't want to over-do it.

Hill race in Isle of Man! Absolutely loved it, running really well.
BUT then on the final downhill suddenly got a massive stitch and couldn't stride out properly at all, so much pain, and just lost loads of time and everyone came past me again :(
Apart from that, loved it :) legs dead, but a good feeling.

Not sure how long I ran for and didn't measure the distance, but ran most of the way back across from Peel to Douglas in the evening! Tired out.

BIKE BROKE! :'(
Just had a really gentle ride to the Distillery for lunch with Mum, then I set off home round the Embledon road while she looked round. Just going up the hill towards the hotel and pub and suddently everything cluncked and my derailer had totally snapped off! No idea why, chain must have caught at a bad angle or something...
Anyway had to walk home, good job it was sunny.
