Nice to be out on a bush O course again, first one for the year.
The first control had me stumped. I had to remember that orange meant open ground, so left the fence line and ran to that, and then realised I didn't have an attack point as I ran down the hill, so stopped when I saw a bit of fence which looked like a bit of fence mapped further down the hill, ran around a bit until I got my bearings. Tom B caught me here - having started a minute after me. I managed to hold him off for the rest until 13 (I think), where I over shot really badly running down and around the knoll. The rest fine.
Nice to have some good hills to run on. First O meet for Charlie at 9 week old. He survived the drive well, so hopefully will make it to more.
