To Start (where I was checking starters for about 45 mins)

orienteering race 1:22:00 [5]

Pannanich, Brown 7km lots of climb (officially 310...) no more needs said! Its a great area but tough, tough, especially when the legs don't feel in tip-top form and struggle in the blaeberry and heather.
Technically clean, a few slightly rushed moments - not checking map frequently enough. Struggling in some of the heather up top and the steep stony, blueberry covered hillside near end.

Collecting 2 controls... plus jog back to car park - quite enjoyed the road after wallowing through the forest again!

Note

Rest day - been suffering from a few niggles this week - mainly right knee and left calf (very tight and sensitive), had hoped to do a cycle but ran out of time - bottling fruit, cutting grass and tidying back yard.

Urban/forst O in Aboyne. Having planned it I had to run it. Nice mix of streets and (lovely runnable) forest. Legs not working very efficiently after Tuesday.

Glen Tanar with Deeside Runners, 6x2+1 on two bridges circuit (reverse). Struggling for death on first one (not enough warm-up and then holding things a bit better. Lots of twinges in right leg... Need to keep doing physio exercises.
