Rideau Tr @ King St. Nice run on the RT. Toured around on the snow covered trail and blue side trails. Great footing with the hobnails. Knee stiff at the beginning, then loosened up and was great. Easy pace with a few light surges.

Wednesday Feb 3

9 AM

Running 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: Crosslites 7 (hobnails) (42)

Home-Cat-Paudyn Lake-Upper loop & return. Great run. Beautiful with some snow falling. Some stiffness in knee at beginning, but nothing by the end. Lots of rehab and stretching after. Pace was about same as when I'm fit, but just didn't feel as easy and obviously much shorter. Encouraging though. Run was bliss. Longest run wthout snowshoes since injury.

4 PM

Running 20:00 [3]
shoes: Vibram Five Fingers KSO

Freeman Rd. Very easy run with Sara.

Tuesday Feb 2

5 PM

Running 45:00 [3]
shoes: Crosslites 7 (hobnails) (42)

Hare Tr. Nice run with Sara. Knee a little tired from standing all day, but felt better as I went. Great night out.

Monday Feb 1

9 AM

Running 20:00 [3]
shoes: Nike Zoom Streaks

Freeman Rd. Knee felt pretty good this morning, in fact didn't really feel anything. The extra stretching, strengthening and rolling seems to be helping. I've increased reps by quite a bit now and think I'm getting stronger. Ran at a steady pace that probably helped my stride efficiency too. My cold is doing better and can actually breathe today.

5 PM

Running 36:00 [3]
shoes: Crosslites 7 (hobnails) (42)

Paudyn Tr and lake. Nice run with Sara and Siku. Just took it easy and enjoyed. Footing a little uneven. Knee a little stiff as the day went on.
