Cat Tr East. Pretty tired today from a busy week. Took the token 20.

Saturday Jan 23

7 AM

Running 46:00 [3]
shoes: Crosslite8 (hobnails 021410)

Frontenac Park. Beautiful morning run to check out the course before the race and make sure it's ready.

Funny...someone, either a person or animal mustn't have liked the thought of a race happening in the park as one of the signs was pee'd on and the ribbon at an intersection was broken (?).

Friday Jan 22

3 PM

Running 1:15:00 [3]
shoes: Crosslite8 (hobnails 021410)

Frontenac Park. Marked the course for the snowshoe race. Felt pretty good. Course should be pretty fast tomorrow. Will run it again tomorrow morning and pack it down a little more.

Thursday Jan 21

Running 56:00 [3]

Frontenac Park. Ran the race course+. Felt great. Knee felt probably the best that it has. Very pleased. Course for Saturday is in great shape. Better than I thought. Very lucky to have excellent conditions for race day.

Wednesday Jan 20

Running 30:00 [3]
shoes: Crosslite8 (hobnails 021410)

Cataraqui Tr W. Nice run with Sara. Knee was a little stiff this morning and at the start, but loosened up. Nice night.

Tuesday Jan 19

6 PM

Running 50:00 [3]
shoes: Crosslite8 (hobnails 021410)

Cataraqui Tr West. Great run tonight to Curl Rd. Knee slightly stiff at the start, but loosened up nicely. Beautiful night out. Trail packed nicely with snow coming down hard. Perfect running conditions. Loved it. Did not want to turn around.

Monday Jan 18

5 PM

Running 21:00 [3]
shoes: Crosslite8 (hobnails 021410)

Cataraqui Tr East. Recovery day. Decided to try running without snowshoes tonight. Knee felt about the same for the whole run. Loosened up and was fine. Trail was quite good for running with soft snow, but good traction.
