Hockey or Soccer 1:30:00 [1]

Soccer at Garneau School, friends of Joachim who are mostly a group of very nice young Christians from the U of A. There was no blashphemous words used throughout the game. Slick field, rained a couple of times. Game was won by a last goal by a girl who was the best player on the field and went through my team on a Maradonna-esqe run.

Note
(sick)

This was a rough day.
After a sectional meeting at work, about 9:30, something just started to hurt in my stomach. A lovely combination of pain and nauseas, and I was heading home pretty soon.

The pain just increased and I had the thrilling experience of puking on 111th St between the LRT and my flat. I?m sure the uni students were very impressed.

Eventually my aunt took me to the hospital and, probably because I looked like I was about to pass out in the waiting room, they got me in pretty quick and hooked-up to an IV with morphine, which put me under pretty soon. I seem to remember seeing a really cute dog walking around, so the second shot of morphine must have been worth it.

One cat scan later, one kidney stone found. So, I expect to be toast for the next few days, drinking lots of tea and juice. And probably one or two CSI shows as well.

At least I didn?t slice-up my knees again?

Orienteering Race race 11:47 [4] *** 1.7 km (6:56 / km)
spiked:6/8c

Barebones Sprint Race at Canmore Nordic Centre
Great fun course, could have been longer or more controls, but with the chase afterwards, it was fine. Great location and woods for a sprint like this.
Race wasn't bad, but I wasn't moving fast enough to really make mistakes. Especially to #2 which was up a big hill and I was suffering, which also i guess means I wasn't warmed-up enough.
Felt good to be orienteering again.

Running warm up/down 20:00 [1]

Cool down with Louise on the Nordic trails. Saw Alaric who described his face-plant which he did right in front of the start where the course crossed over itself.
