Running 52:00 [2]

Run along the Rideau River and then back along the old bread & butter route from when I lived in Sandy Hill. Very muddy at points.

Back really tight from probably horrendous posture at work.

Election will both complicate and simplify life in town.

Cross-country skiing (skating) 1:35:00 [2]

Went at the crack of noon, but still super fun. Usual bread and butter route.

Went to Wakefield to check out the Super Moon last night. I could see myself living there eventually.

Cross-country skiing (skating) 2:05:00 [1]

Wicked skate ski with KA up along Ridge. Was groomed last night and in awesome shape.

Fun day, although lack of "stuff" bought is starting to get concerning.

Note

To any random tall people out there. A friend of mine is selling a fancy road bike. It's too big for me or else I'd be interested.

Specialized Tarmac Comp, full-carbon fibre frame and fork (size 58 XL), Shimano Ultegra/105, Speedplay clipless pedals. It doesn't have a scratch and has been ridden less than 100km. Asking $1,000.

Bike's in Ottawa but can get to where ever I'm sure.

Running 45:00 [2]

Run along two rivers on the roads as things were too sloppy and icy on trails. Wanted to go skiing but got stuck at home too long after work. Hunt is on for furniture.

Running 45:00 [1]

Quick run after work along the river. Legs did not feel good today post classic ski yesterday.

Classic skis still available...

Getting warm. Time to start thinking about bikes.

Cross-country skiing 2:30:00 [2]

Long classic ski with Jake and Sarah. I basically had no grip and was arms only for a lot of this.

My no-wax class skis are now officially too stiff for me and thus are up for grabs. 205cm Atomic, "race" classic. Salomon binding.

Anyone interested?

Cross-country skiing (skating) 1:30:00 [1]

Ski on Ridge and Burma from P7 with KA. Lots of good stories about T-Bay and skiers.

Probably one of the fastest night, especially on Fortune Parkway from the end of Burma back to Gossip Corner. We were with the wind and it was perfect conditions for flying.

KA went down the last hill on Burma first and I had the answer to what would happen if you couldn't quite make the corner onto the parkway. She was planted face-first in the snow when I showed up.

Note

Another meeting at the new apartment, this time to drop off cheques.

The living room is eggplant. It very much looks like it's the manager of a yoga studio that lives here. I'm not sure if I can pull this off.

Then skipped a run to watch LOTR 2. Excellent movie.

Cross-country skiing (skating) 1:30:00 [2]

I think about 1:30 with Paul Moore from P7. Snow was pretty soft from last night and man, I was mega toast by the end. Didn't think I was working that hard out there, but really was drained at the end.

Spring skiing is going to be deadly.

Running 45:00 [1]

Quick run in the snow down by the river. Only one month left of these trails before I move downtown.

Devon and Alex. Wow. Lucky Ian Murray picked this World Champs to go watch.
