Running 55:00 [3]

Kind of a harder run in the valley, above freezing and the snow's getting much softer on the single track trails.

Heard back from the Canadian Tire: broken clutch and it'll cost around $1350 which my consultant in Hinton thinks is a bit high.

What the hell, only car I own.

Older brother Tim's birthday. Tim French and Gordie Howe.

Running 50:00 [2]

One of the fun things about living in the north (waiting for Brent to mock me) is that the days are getting longer and I don't have the excuse that it's cold and that there's wolves after me.

Legs really heavy from the tele yesterday and general lack of sleep.

Telemark/Alpine 2:00:00 [3]

Full day of tele skiing at Lake Louise, I'm not sure of the hours/tele ratio for logging, so I said 2.

It was pretty much perfect, not too bright and sunny, around -5 (plus wind on the Bowl side). I had the tele turns going well early, but got sloppy by the end of the day on some icy runs.

Saw some serious tele-dudes skiing down the rocks of the bowl runs. Very serious.

After the ski, had a truly brutal trip back to Edmonton.

Cross-country skiing (skating) 45:00 [1]

A lap of the Goldbar trails with Mike Neary after listening to Chandra Crawford give her Fast and Female talk to the club. She's as friendly and goofy as advertised. And she's getting pretty good at double-poling.
Sadly, no time to exchange Zuga stories.

Running 42:00 [3]

Pretty hard little run in the valley, would have gone longer, but had to get back to move furniture into the house.
There is so much snow in the valley, I think it's going to be around until May.

Cross-country skiing intervals (skating) 18:00 [4]

Skate intervals relay style, around 6 x 3 minutes acording to Will, but I know I died a quick death on a couple of them. Snowing pretty heavy and the fresh stuff was mega slow.

Good little group of 6 of us.

I need to get some wax on my training skis.

Cross-country skiing (skating) 1:30:00 [3]

Ski at Goldbar, wicked conditions, really fast. My Madshus could really use some wax, even if its just for training.

Running 45:00 [3]

Run down by the river. Nice temp, skiing probably awesome.

Running 1:05:00 [2]

Sunny day, but cold wind out there. Run was pretty tough because of working hard with snowy trails.
