And for the first time ever, saw a bear. And it was a big one too, crossing the Skyline trail as I did a loop. Went into the woods, hung out and watched me.
After a crap day at work (need a new job) really looking forward to the NFL run.
Dave obviously feeling guilty about last week's run (ended up being 18.5km for some), and was worried about the wet rocks on King Mt. so the workout was loops from P7 around the woods north of the parking lot beneath Penguin.
Hammy acted up a bit, fun workout, but just can't seem to crank up the speed at all this year. Just totally missing a gear.
Did Wolf Trail with Nicky and E-Man. Just a lovely day and a jump into a very fresh Meech Lake afterwards.

Went and watched the second part of the the womens road race at cycling nationals. Hmm, didn't actually feel that impressive, sure they have Lexus, but not many kicking around watching. Also, cycling kind of sucks as a spectator sport.
A bit guessing at the time, but man, this felt awful. Dave had a 14km run planned and my legs felt toast as soon as we started.
Really fun single track south of the Parkway from P2 to Pink. It went on for ever it felt like. Then a loop of Pink Lake. Was to head back on the single track but saw Nicky on the Parkway and we slogged back to the car on the Parkway.
