Thursday Sep 15, 2005 #

Running the bread and butter route with Adam. Felt poor early, good late.

Orienteering Race 2:58:00 [3]

The O-Mega. Again, legs felt poor for some reason. Only did 127 of 203. Could have run for another hour, but was told the car had to leave at 1, we ended up leaving at 2, but I still think I got my money's worth.

Orienteering Race race 20:09 [5]

First race of the Sprints. Felt pretty hurting for a good chunk of it, was running with Clem before we both made a mistake and blew it, except he recovered in time and got seperated. Poor start to the day.

Orienteering Race race 18:39 [5]

Final sprint race, third of 3. Again, didn't feel great and totally wacked my head into a guy's shoulder with my head down. Finished second in the heat. Nothing special about the run, could and should have won it.

Orienteering Race race 13:40 [5] ****
spiked:7/9c weight:165lbs shoes: Asics 2070

Raced the OOC beginners event, was a 1:10,000m map and I wasn't mega shart around a couple of them. I also blame it on the small flags rather than a real one. Legs a little tight from the days before.

Running warm up/down 20:00 [1]
shoes: Asics 2070

Warm up with the Lions, first practice with them.

Running Intervals intervals 1:50 [5] 0.6 km (3:03 / km)
shoes: Asics 2070

Start of the workout with a 600m interval.

Running tempo 30:00 [4]
shoes: Asics 2070

30 minute tempo run, Lions training. I felt just brutal due to a very very late lunch that was now sitting in my belly. Not a wise move.

Running intervals 1:57 [5] 0.6 km (3:15 / km)
shoes: Asics 2070

A 600m interval to close the workout, felt brutal as well.

Tuesday Sep 6, 2005 #

Running 45:00 [3]
shoes: Asics 2070

Just a basic nothing special run along the river

Monday Sep 5, 2005 #

canoe/kayak 2:00:00 [1]

Kayaking home from Penn Lake at Algonquin. No moose, very disappointed.

Sunday Sep 4, 2005 #

canoe/kayak 2:00:00 [2]

Canoeing and kayaking at Penn Lake in Algonquin. Did a bit of hammering in the kayak after a very quiet canoe with Ali.

Saturday Sep 3, 2005 #

canoe/kayak 3:00:00 [2]

Kayaking from Rock Lake to Penn Lake, including a 375m portage, although it seemed rather short. Got absolutely drenched in a rain storm, and had to hammer a couple times, especially to go back for a paddle.
