Running warm up/down 22:40 [3] 3.57 km (6:21 / km)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara TR2

Inc. drills.

Orienteering race 13:13 [5] 3.25 km (4:04 / km)
shoes: Saucony Kinvara TR2

British Mixed Sprint Relay Champs - 1st leg. Frustrating again!

Having a really good run at the front on the pack (despite running full pelt into a statue....) just behind Fanni who was non comp as had already ran punched 8 and got behind myself and was looking for a building ahead and couldn't understand why there was grass (I'd already come around the building). Carried on as realised I must have passed it but others came into 9 from opposite direction behind me so somehow convinced myself I had went to the wrong 8 so panicked and decided because it was a relay I'd go back and check (and I knew Dad and Karen would never let me hear the end of it if I mp). Got back towards 8 and was 100% sure that was the control I'd punched....(I always check my codes so why wouldn't it have been) so carried on the long way to 10.

I was then raging going to 11 trying to pass all those I knew I should be ahead of and not concentrating so was really stop/start. Happy enough with the rest but I lost 1min between 8 and 10 due to the fact I severely lack confidence and seem to manage to make an issue in my head out of nothing, agh idiot!!!! I'd have been really happy with 12:13-20 ish - lots to work on when I focus in again.

Orienteering 20:13 [4] 4.15 km (4:52 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Sayonara 2

Course dad planned on the way home. More stupid orienteering by me, not focusing enough on planning where I'm running at times which is causing me to get behind/overshoot. Think I must have got faster as I am now able to make mistakes. Stopped and reset then improved.

Running warm up/down 21:26 [3] 3.11 km (6:54 / km)
shoes: Saucony Peregrine 4

Inc. drills.

Orienteering race 12:43 [5] 2.71 km (4:42 / km)
shoes: Saucony Peregrine 4

Birchwood 1 (2km).
Started ok but felt very rusty and never flowing. Totally fell apart from 13 onwards as distracted then rushing.

Orienteering race 12:03 [5] 2.41 km (5:00 / km)
shoes: Saucony Peregrine 4

Birchwood 2 (1.7km).
Poor run. Actual mistakes on 4, 8 and 9 and very sloppy on a lot of others. Frustrating but not focusing on this at the minute and have debriefed for future training.

Orienteering 25:11 [4] 4.17 km (6:02 / km)
shoes: Saucony Peregrine 4

4x sprintervals with artificial barriers. Very technical. Still quite sloppy but happy with the final one.

Running warm up/down 23:24 [3] 3.9 km (6:00 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-1000 4 (2)

To/from the Meadows with Rona and to the start of the loop.

Running 9:00 [4] 1.43 km (6:18 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-1000 4 (2)

2x90secs (3mins), drills in 3mins between.

Running 4:49 [5] 1.41 km (3:25 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-1000 4 (2)

TT. Another significant improvement (5secs) and really positive reading when compare to data from last year. Breezier than last time and although legs had been feeling good was prepared to not run so well due to issues over the last few days. Unfortunately now it's summer there's a lot more people on the route and I was onto the grass dodging at least 4times. I didn't go out quite so stupid this time and really really fought up the final straight to keep the pace up. Happy :).

Running warm up/down 12:46 [3] 1.93 km (6:37 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-1000 4

Pre breakfast again, very hot. My stomach was absolutely horrendous to the extent it waking me up during the night and wasn't sure I could even make it out this morning. Eventually did and running took my mind of it slightly. Kaz joined me for cool down. Continued to bother me for the rest of the day, struggled with eating until the evening. I enjoy holidays but my body obviously doesn't!

Running 18:00 [4] 1.8 km (10:00 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-1000 4

4x90secs (3mins), same place as yesterday. Not running as well as yesterday for obvious reasons but legs felt good. Almost bailed after two with stomach issues but managed.
