Running race 19:27 [5] 5.18 km (3:45 / km)
shoes: Saucony Peregrine 4

Down visiting my friend Debbie from uni in Penrith. She has got really into running but has never done a park run so we decided to go despite a late night. Course too long, on trails and has quite a few tight turns so not fast but I like running somewhere different and nice to have no pressure - (although I did want to be first women so probably went off too hard to break some others)! Hoping all these tougher courses / sessions in poor conditions will help me when it comes to a making myself hurt on a good course/day!

Note

Thankfully nothing major showing up in blood tests. Noted ones of interest for comparison: B12: 645 (week 4/10) (180-2000), Ferritin: 20 (15-200), Hae 132 (>120). None of these are startling though, as early on in B12 cycle and both iron readings down on previous and lowest since 2014/2013 respectively. Need to be careful.

Running warm up/down 40:28 [3] 7.15 km (5:40 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Hyper Speed 6

Running race 5:31 [5] 1.0 mi (5:31 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel Hyper Speed 6

Meadows mile. Very windy so time not great...this is getting a bit boring now. Corners muddy/slippy with all the rain yesterday. Time isn't important though as just a training session and effort was there and ahead of the usual people. This is also fairly comparable to my 5min tests and my min/km were quicker which is positive.

Running intervals 6:00 [5] 0.81 km (7:24 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Hyper Speed 6

4x approx. 200m, as flat out as I could manage going every 90secs.

Running warm up/down 33:46 [3] 5.58 km (6:03 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-1000 4 (2)

Inc. drills.

Running intervals 36:05 [5] 7.8 km (4:38 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-1000 4 (2)

1x1600m (800m), 2x800m (400m), 4x400m (200m). Then suddenly decided to do 1x200m (100m) after when I was absolutely knackered. Recovery distances approx. as often ran in outer lanes to keep out the way. Solo tonight and track very greasy - felt it tough but times ok. Wind blowing opposite direction to normal so took a bit of getting used to as had to push more up the back straight than normal.
