Home club 10km. Again not aiming for a time having raced on Friday and the course isn't really fast as has a hill twice and lots of twisty bits. Pretty happy again though as over a minute quicker than last year and only 20secs off my best for that course (when I'd half targeted it!) Turns out it was East Distict 10km champs and I was first women....can only beat those who are there! Positive weekend as training seems to be working again :).

Again as relevant as possible, have only ran on area once so was a good challenge. Dad chasing me down for added pressure. Includes jog to start.

Silverknowes 5km. No expectations having not eased or targeted (discussed with Dad due to this this wouldn't be a true reflection of my form) Really windy so didn't even try to run times and just raced which made me more relaxed than usual before. Therefore I'm really happy in such conditions to only be 5secs off my PB and fastest I've ran in over a year and half (SB by 26secs).
(3:33, 3:38, 3:33, 3:35, 3:43, 0:06).
Excited for more races now as really believe I can smash my PB!

Gluts/hips, agility, plyos, core and mobility.
27.1 - legs felt broken but don't seem to be getting any better at this...but I don't always run a track session 12 hours before.

To/from/to train. Back to the train after was fastest I'd ran all day as was very tight for time and didn't fancy waiting an hour (made it less than a minute to spare!).

North Berwick. Plodding but lovely views and new bits of map made it worth the trip. Wind on the front reminded me how tough Friday could be...Managed to speed up in the second half as time was running out for making the train home.

Track with Tessa. I blew up in the second set (of four) after going out a bit hard. Literally swimming - have managed not to be such an idiot recently. Real mind and body battle through the rest but happy with how I fought back and with the times in the last two sets. Interestingly the times in the bad set were the times I ran last month in a similar session and they weren't bad then! Good lesson in how to hurt.
