Running warm up/down 30:30 [3] 5.43 km (5:37 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-1000 4

Inc. dills.

Running race 38:24 [5] 10.0 km (3:50 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Hyper Speed 6

Well Grangemouth is no longer the super fast course :(...they've changed the route. Now starts on the running track which isn't great with the number of people, more twists and turns on paths rather than roads and turns into the wind an extra time. Unlucky the wind picked up too throughout the morning, was on pace for 38 at 8km but sadly 1.5km of the last 2km was into a nasty wind.

Due to the timing this year didn't ease for it so good to run like this off a weeks training - still my second best time (just) and did my running relative to those around me. Slightly disappointed but not worth worrying about as know I'm fitter. Will just have to find another fast one :).

Orienteering 11:40 [3] 1.97 km (5:55 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-1000 4

Grangemouth. Tired.

Orienteering 10:15 [4] 2.11 km (4:51 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-1000 4

Grangemouth, trickier but made myself push harder. Flowed well.

Running warm up/down 23:13 [3] 4.34 km (5:21 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-1000 2

To/from stations, on a tight time scale but trying not to take too much out the legs.

Orienteering 11:59 [4] 2.07 km (5:47 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-1000 2

Campus sprint Rona kindly planned. Pretty good.

Orienteering 15:25 [3] 2.37 km (6:30 / km)
shoes: Asics GT-1000 4

2nd campus, another course from Rona. Tricky, worth doing.

Note

Did another road rally last night, I must hold on with my feet as my foot started to seize and cramp (have had this problem before and could also feel it in my calf) at the finish and had to quickly get my shoe off and release. Rolled foot with ball / calf once home and all fine. Need to relax - worth it though as was really fun and we won :).

2x12mins LT (3mins). Tired legs so HR at lower end of range and strong headwind made it feel hard work.
