Orienteering 55:00 [3] 6.0 km (9:10 / km)

Attempted course 1 at the Melbourne Bush O on the Balt Camp. Had to catch a train from Gisborne Stn at 11:15 so bailed out as I was not going to finish in time. just as well. Bush is a lot thicker than I remember and I was making mistakes and really struggling physically after 4.5k. Had trouble finding a couple of controls in thickish flat gullys. To lazy to navigate properly so aiming at things and hoping does not work.

Orienteering 45:00 [3] 5.2 km (8:39 / km)

With Judy and Jeanette in Bununyong. Started at the Gardens and then hung tapes for them on a 3k course. Ran to the top of Innes Hill to a park called Birdwood Park. A new area of discovery for me.

Wednesday May 23 #

Orienteering 1:10:00 [3] 7.5 km (9:20 / km)

With Judy at Bodens Water Race. Very flat area but can be quite challenging. Did a bit of mapping green areas and updating tracks. They are always changing.

Monday May 21 #

Swimming 45:00 [3] 1.6 km (28:07 / km)

Swimming at FU pool. Started with 1:45 100s but they gradually drifted to 2:00. Surprised how much better it was for just y 2nd swim in 2 years.
