Orienteering 1:40:00 [3] 9.2 km (10:52 / km)

Was hoping when I left home that this did not end up too much like the previous event we had in this area. I was concerned that 6k was going to be too far for me as well. How wrong I was. We actually had 3 legs almost the same as the previous Bendigo event. The only way to explain this is scrabbling through the green, then scrabbling through the green and then, oh wait, scrabbling through the green.
I have a cut on each arm, a cut on my face and my legs are cut to bits. I only had one wobble on the course and still ran 9.2km. Having already run down a course this year so that I could cope in my weakened fattened state this was just way too much.
I am still struggling with course setters setting legs that give you no options. Wait there were option. The options on at least 5 of our legs were 1. Go straight and push through the green. 2. Go left and push through the green or 3. Go right and push through the green. Looking at course 2 I think it may have been a little better.

Orienteering 55:00 [3] 5.0 km (11:00 / km)

Kooyoora first of a 2 day event. This was a good course set by Alex in the only nice area left on the map adjacent to picnic area and below the caves. Only 2 wobbles that cost me a few minutes all up. Enjoyed this a lot(except for the gratuitous climb up the Caves track).

Hung tapes for Judy on Kuruc-A-ruc and then went exploring.

Orienteering 45:00 [3] 7.0 km (6:26 / km)

Exploring some tracks in the forest near home with the dog in the poring rain.
