From Robs then down along the river and back. Managed to be running under 5 min a km for some of it. Quite an achievment for me. Died in the last km as it was a long hauol up hill. Rest of the run was blissfully flat.
Did a couple of hours maping then went for a run on one of the maps nearby. Very slow as I was hanging tapes. I spent a lot of time standing and looking. Found it hard to read as it was getting a bit dark in the cedars and my glasses kept fogging up.
Tried another route around Mishima but got a bit lost. More hills. Been mapping the las t 2 days so had no time to run. I have mapped .08squ km and rod has done about .5 in the same time.
Walked to Mishima Shrine today. Quite an imposing building. Then went for a run in the late afternoon. Ran up a beautiful gully covered with native trees and a fast running steam in a steep gully. The only problem was it was up. Took me 40min to get to the highest point and 18 to get down.
Swam at the Mishima indoor pool. Not sure about the distance as I lost count very early on. Got in to trouble for wearing a watch in the pool. Very odd.
