Orienteering 1:28:00 [3] 14.0 km (6:17 / km)
ahr:140

Ran wit Kido at Slatey Crk. Did the first 25 min Orienteering putting out tags for Judy. Really slow for this. Think we have forgotten how to O. Only covered 3.0 km in 25 min. Did the rest of the run on very hilly tracks on the old Slatey Crk map.

Cycling 1:28:00 [3] 38.0 km (2:19 / km)
ahr:141

Decided to get out on the bike as the next Tri is Olympic distance and I have some concerns about the 40 k ride.

Barkly st, woodmans hill, brewery tap road, humphray st, sturt st and then 2 laps of the lake.

Got passed by Simon Ellis, one of my old training partners and now physio. Did not even recognise me and made me look I was barely moving. Oh well, time passes.

Running 1:00:00 [3] 10.0 km (6:00 / km)

Run on tracks near state forest rd.

Dog pissed off chasing something half way into the run. I called for him throughout the rest but did not see him again. Drove around for 40 min looking for him calling. I eventually found him running along a track and he seemed very happy to see me. I was so pleased and my throat so sore I could have kicked him to death. I still cant help giving him the evil stare as he sit looking admiringly at me through the window.

Orienteering 1:00:00 [3] 10.0 km (6:00 / km)

Back in action today. Put tags in the forest for Judy and then ran on my own for another 40 minutes. Great conditions. Cool and cloudy. Beautiful forest.

Note

Should have heeded my own advice from Fri and Sat. Really feel shit today. The stress of competition has set back my recovery by a long way. Let that be a lesson to you all. Rest can be a good thing.
