Orienteering race 1:10:00 [4] 6.0 km (11:40 / km)

State series at Little Bendigo. Really struggled to move well. I seemed very tired and slow. Couple of errors but managed to do OK. Very technical course. One of our better ones.

Orienteering at Mangurang near Bendigo then off to visit Lian and Saoirse.

Ran tracks around Skippers Dam. Dog pissed off at the start. Came back with Judy 1.5 hrs later.

With Judy and Ambrose at Staffordshire reef. Hung tapes and Judy collected them. Did a bit of map exploration whilst waiting for Judy.

Sprint race in St Albans. Same story. Started well with competitive splits then a 1:30 brain fade towards the end. I just get tired and stop thinking clearly. A lot of left or right around the building choices. 10 min w/u

Sprint race at Bundoora. Physically very sluggish and was not at all competitive with speed. Course seemed technical but was not once I got into it. Just had to be fast and I am not.

Race at Deakin Gelong. 15 min w/u for this as I was a bit stiff from yesterday. Much better courses than yesterday. Splits had me leading for first half but I just tired badly and went backwards.

Sprint at Kadinia College. Good course but made my first big error of the weekend. I always start well with good splits and place but then get tired. 10 min w/u

Sprint at Melb. Uni. Was looking forward to this but course was very basic with no navigational challenge. Just too slow.

Ran tracks around Boden Water Race with the dog for company. Misjudged the distance a bit but survived.

With Judy at Surface Hill. I hung tapes and then ran an extra 5 k with Ambrose.

Hanging tapes near Enfield for Judy and her friend. Mostly on tracks so just an easy jog for me. Dog was bored and kept disappearing and as a result did a lot of standing still and calling.

With Judy and Ambrose at the Historical Marker map about 3km from home.

With Judy and Ambrose near Smythesdale. A bit warm today but early enough to avoid the hottest part of the day.

Ran the tracks in the forest from home. Found a new on made by trail bikes. Need to show them where I want new tracks. Was quite hot.
