To the Dam and back. Did not dress appropriately, fingers and toes felt like they were going to fall off the whole time. Wasn't expecting that much snow and ice either but it made for a pretty ride. Brought my phone so stopped once to take pictures where it promptly turned off because it was too cold - I don't blame it.
New shifter worked flawlessly.
Finally tried water running. Turns out it is boring. Helped that there was an old peoples aquafit class that had some music playing.
Also I found it hard to go fast enough to get into a zone where I was breathing hard. Hips and lower abs felt the burn though. I was tired afterwards though so it must have done something. I think next time I'll try and bring an interval workout of some sort - this time I just tried to keep as fast a pace as I could for the whole time.
Ankle hurt a little bit a couple times but not the worst. Worse then biking but not as bad as running.
