11 AM

Orienteering race 58:34 [4] 7.93 km (7:23 / km)
ahr:171 max:190 shoes: VJ Integrator

Relay. Because of my good performance on the long distance I could run in the first team of Sibbo-Vargarna. I was quiet stressed because of this. I was the 3th and last runner. Our first runner Victor Manser made too many mistakes and arrived 7 minutes behind the lead. Next Markus also made too many mistakes so I could start with already more than 6 minutes behind the second team of Sibbo. I did the same as the day before, not pushing to hard and try to keep contact with the map. At the second control IF Brahe was with me and we ran almost together. I was not planning to follow him and did my own things but we met every time again at the control. At the 7th I didn't see him anymore. But towards the 8th control I lost for the first time contact with the map and made as a consequence a big mistake (4 minutes). At the 9th I came with the Botnia team and we had to sprint in the final. I won luckily so I only lost 1 place (IF Brahe), but a 9th place was not really satisfying for the team.

Orienteering long 1:36:39 [4] 12.68 km (7:37 / km) +150m 7:12 / km
ahr:173 max:181 shoes: VJ Integrator

Long distance at FSOM, Vora Finland. The terrain is really hard to run in so the pace was really slow. But because of this I could easily read the map so I did a quiet good job. Towards the 8th control it is better to go first to the lake and then towards the road. Everybody in top 10 did this, I went straight and missed the control as a consequence. At the end cramps made it very hard for me but I could keep running which leaded me towards a 10th place.

Orienteering 35:03 [3] 4.18 km (8:23 / km) +60m 7:49 / km

FSOM middle distance. Very technical map. Started slow but good. Caught the guy who started 1 minute before me at the 6th control but missed the control itself. From the 8th it became really difficult and I lost 3 minutes at the 9th.

Nice map, but bit to difficult to start the weekend.

ahr:125 max:185 shoes: Sidi zephyr

Evening cycling together with Stijn, Arnoud, Joep and Georg. Not a very nice track. Bad roads, a lot of turning. We did 2 accelerations next to the canal. 2 times head for me and legs felt it. Georg stopped after 40km and Arnoud after 50km.
