Placing controls at Edese Heide. I placed the controls in the north.

Relay together with the german and dutch people at Edese heide. Started very good (had a long warmup). Made only one mistake (didn't saw the 2th control). 4-5-6 I placed myself but these were also just to make distance. Did nice course, at the end I reduced pace because I was running alone in the lead.

Note

Satisfied of the week and weekend. Wanted to run 130km this week. I did 125km with a lot of kilometers in the terrain. This weekend I ran over 55km with 45km orienteering. Next week I will train less and start some intervals. I also heard about my selection for Interland in Belgium. Glad about this after the disappointment last weekend and will give 100% at this course.

Placing out controls for training at Arnhemse Heide. The first one I had troubles finding first the right place and then the right hill. Nice technical part of the map. Had some troubles with number 17 although I passed the right place. Was some discussion about the place I putted them.

Technical training at Arnhemse Heide. Had troubles with second control. Came at thirth control. Still difficult terrain altough I'd been there one hour before.

An exercise with mass start. Everyone the same controls. The first that arrives at the control has to wait for the last and start again trying to get first again. I was first at 7 controls (5-8-12-17-22-26-31). Pushed hard (together with Soren, we did most of the controls). In between I had to wait long sometimes because of the last one. Good training (semi interval).

Arrived at Otterlo, Netherlands for the trainingcamp together with the german youth of Westfalen. Went for a run with quiet a lot of people.

Wanted to train a bit more intensive today, HR 150. See how far I get. Felt very good, went through Korbeek Dijle (ruwaal) and Zoete waters (with hill behind chapel). Have to stay quiet late at the lab so perfect for long training during the day.

Short training starting from the lab. Not much time (had to be back and washed in 1 hour) so went for a fast tour. Did the short tour of SLOK training with extra loop at the arboretum.

Hill training together with Jeroen H. We went to Kesselberg and did a lot of intense climbs there. There is a big difference between my training of today and yesterday. Yesterday the heigth was spread over the 18 km today it was spread over only 7 km with more steep hills. Very nice training.

Running at Heverleebos and Meerdaalwoud. Felt bit tired in the beginning. Started rather slow (5'10"/km) but after 40 minutes I felt better and ran the last part at high pace. Good training, tomorrow I will do a hill training with Jeroen H. People that want to join are free to come.
