struggled with weight - stubborn at 71kg
Jan - ran too soon after giving blood which held me back - also didn't get early walking week in spain
March - got back on bike NBCTC & Audax
April - more bike - started to feel good, buut poor legs at the OMMLITe in the brecon beacons - not enough walking
May - Wenlock 1/2 and 2 falls in Paris and another at SinS
June - BLEW HAM/GLUTE ! early on ... rest
July - rest packed on Saunders due to weak legs - physio
Aug - physio and S&C - rest
Sept - rest poor legs on OMMlite
Oct - back to easy running
Nov - running a bit harder
Dec - starting to run 4x per week, then ham/glute went again at OD xmas relays :-(
analysis ...
need to do long distance walks incl back-to-back days as walking endurance is poor
keep on the bike for leg strength an include rollers if cant get out
strength/physio work on legs must be ongoing
don't be tempted to pick up running miles - legs cant take it - keep it down to 10k but make it fast
