Cold with snow on the ground.
Felt tired & heavy to 1. Got into the wron rentrant from the car park (how?) and was so confident I didnt believe the fence in front of me was the one on the map!
Unclean at 4 - ddnt see the control in front of me! Didnt go far enough down reentrant for 7 as i had found ditches (but not on the map!). Coundnt find the path to the road xing doh! Depressions in the green at 14 were very selectively mapped. Misthumbed map at 20 and tried to run to a similar feature to 21. Found a faint track on way to 24 but it wasnt mine and wasnt on the map. got too high going for 25 and couldnt work out the gorse pn the ground - because the control no had been plonked right on top of it - grrr!
all in all - not physically fit enough, eyesight issues again and not enough concentration!

windy and warmish from home, col de queslett, streetly gate - meet with North Birmingham medium group for a ride around the lanes to Mary's at Mere Green, back home over col du queslett.
Started raining and got increasingly cold about 1/2 way round - the last hour was torrential icy horizontal rain/sleet/hail

Ledbury Night Street League - medium
Havent run for a while so I took it easy. Used the old crappy Petzl zoom as it was mostly in town - however the woodland section was tricky as the Petzl wasnt upto it and I ran off the path at least once and missed a small turn and ended up turning at the wrong junction some 20m further and ran down a long (parallel?) dead end costing me a good 2 mins.
Fun but not my finest orienteering. A tricky course from Colin P on a good map by Rob F.
