Run (Belair) 57:00 [3] 9.3 km (6:08 / km) +265m 5:22 / km

I’ve had a bit of an upset tum today, but decided to head out anyway. It was a great excuse to stop and admire the enamel, spider and other orchids and wildflowers out. Golf course, boundary track, up to Melville house, up karri track which is always lovely for wildflowers, although a bit of a climb, redwoods and a little way down the creek from there I had an amazing encounter with a bandicoot! It came right up to my toes twice before dashing back into the undergrowth. I’ve never seen a bandicoot in the wild before, so I was pretty excited. Sad I didn’t have my camera with me!

Run (Short hilly loop) 31:00 [3] 4.9 km (6:20 / km)

Short run before dinner because I had the opportunity, even though I’m still feeling super tired. Dad appeared near his place heading out for a run too, so I jogged with him through the forest and had a chat before he headed for frank smith and I headed home through Archibald park and the blossoming orchard.

Run (Belair mookoo loop) 38:00 [3] 6.5 km (5:51 / km)

Squishy morning run - soggy shoes by the time I crossed the golf course. Started raining about half way, which was nice. Saw some spider orchids, but they look almost finished.

Run (Cascades) 49:00 [3] 6.1 km (8:02 / km)

A rare run with Tyson from Blackwood footy club to the cascades and back via the flood control dam. I’ve been super tired this week so I’ve been taking it easy, but this run in the muggy warm with rumbling thunder in the background felt tough. I don’t think I’ve been to the cascades since I was a teenager, so that was cool.
