(30 minutes) Too slow and lazy to call it training, but a very nice bicycle equivalent of strolling along the Deep Water Point foreshore with my Mum, punctuated by me perpetually telling her to change down a gear or 4. Mum's at least as bad as me for overdoing it.
(90 minutes) Too slow and lazy to call it training, but a nice gossip and explore session in Ellis Brook Valley with Marcia.
I've now fiddled with the fancy watch so that it won't beep that I'm going too slow until I'm slower than 6.15min/km and it will tell me I'm going too fast at 5.45min/km.
Previous settings had 'too slow' at 5.35min/km and too fast at 3.58min/km. I have bounced off both off them at various times. 5.21min/km seems to be my 'comfy' pace, based on previous C25K splits in which I felt good, comfy and in control. And was going gently downhill.
It will be interesting to see how the next week goes.

Pretty unhappy with this effort.
Clean to 3
4 - strayed well to the left, recognised I was wrong from the watercourse, but still took ages to re-locate properly and nab the control.
5 - pretty clean - realised compass was trying to drag to the left again and ignored it
6 - another big error. Won't be entirely sure of how I got it so wrong until I see RG, but I'm betting money on dragging to the left again. Ended up having to re-locate from the FENCE.
7,8 - clean
9 - None of the three rocks in the circle appeared to be in the centre. Found control on the second one I checked. (Note - RG shows I didn't even make it into the circle before checking my first rock - fail.)
10 - Nice leg - couldn't figure out how I wanted to do it, so did a headless chicken impression. Then when I was in the vicinity, it seemed very clear to me - but number on the stand was for control 11. Headed up the hill - another big time loss.
11 - Very fast - knew exactly where I was going!
12 - Randomly checked a control that was in my flight path, I have no idea why. Couple of seconds lost for being a moron
Clean 13 and finish - ran across the paddock as quick as I could sustain, convinced there was someone hot on my tail. Not actually so, despite him entering 12 as I was leaving it.

Tried to race the train from Mt Lawley to Maylands but am not very good at it. Train stopped at Mt Lawley as I went past and I didn't _quite_ make it to Maylands before it left.

Ride home with an evening's shopping tucked into the backpack. Mostly very casual enjoying the evening - but noticed the wind kicking up at times.
First time ever didin't manage to unclip with the foot that needed to go on the road. Embarrassing slow-mo fall at the main entrance to Burswood. Bitten by the big cog at the front, but no incapacitating injuries.

Water just amazingly still this morning - took a bunch of photos of early morning reflections and for the first time in ages, wished I was paddling instead of cycling.
Another morning of not a whole heap of energy, but no niggling pains - I'll take it for a bit longer I think.
