lots of good terrain running. chuffed to have run 3 hours and not too much issue with the back. It was a bit tired and sore by the end but better than I might have expected.
This part of perthshire is kite central. 14 years ago I was excited to see one on some god-forsaken moor in the middle of Wales, the second one I ever I saw was in the summer on the Black Isle. Today I saw a dozen, they were everywhere.

very different set of people to usual. Alot of them not really listeing to the "this is the fast group" so they did slow things up to start with but it got going and they got dropped. Did some pace setting to keep things fast but it wasn't as consistently high as the last 2 weeks.
Same pace Dalkeith to Musselburgh as last week though 36.9kph Less wind overall this week)

Pleasance. was going to take it really easy but I would have got bored I guess. lower resistance higher cadence, winding it up as it progressed

9 times up Blackford Hill north side from the pond with a 12kg pack.
quite a hard session
I was going to do it some time in the day and though 8, then it gt late so I though maybe 5, then I thought 6 since that was less than an hours worth, so I though an hour, which was 7, having done 7, why not 8 ? Then might as well make it a Munro's worth.
Descending was more tiring than climbing. Which was an aim anyway.

piece of crap threw a computer wobbly half way through
switched bike - that one wouldn't start
Also noticed the guy next to me switch half way through his session
Fancy fucking fanny about watching television stupid arse monitors !
How about some machines that actually let you do a work out without baing interrupted.

Anyway - started on 17 and ramped up every few minutes to 20, which put me on the rivet - about 91 rpm. 12 minutes on that, then eased back to 16 - 99rpm. After switching bikes the resistance levels were totally different - also rubbish. Did another 8 minutes at tempo.

Apart from which - good to be training, could feel yesterday in my legs.

Hill End, out to Capelaw watching the Skyline come home., then dropped down into the Kirk Burn and sraight up Castle Law down to the head of Woodhouselee glen then over and down into Boghall Burn and straight up the back of Caerketton. Pack 5kg, rising to 10kg
Really good to get the legs working.

I was relieved that they still have 2 Versaclimbers in the circuit gym but the computers have no power - which is total rubbish.

told him what had happened. every step hurting. He said that sounds like a hip thing (no not cool) and gave it a twist - seems better, not hurting every step at least. Needs to all calm down though.
