So,
both Fernando and I had our ops today.
both went well.. The surgeon said he couldn't see anything at first, but a wee flick and up popped the torn bit. He said it was a complex tear so took longer to tidy up than usual, but should be good. Said the joint looks ok - so positive.

I'm being told that I can start back on a bike in 10 days and build up with various machines and can start running a few short drills in 6 weeks.
I'm going to keep an eye on FT, because if he can be playing premier league football again in 6 weeks then I reckon I can be running in a straight line sooner than 6 weeks.

pretty good session, was gong to do 5, then decided 6 then decided 9 and then added a last to get up the hill anyway.

Run around the horseshoe of Trahenna. 50 mins total
set off in beautiful snowy sunshine, tough climb in a foot of snow, with occasional 18 inches, breaking crust etc. Blizzard conditions by the time I hit the top, whiteout made the descent route a little off line.
