Morning trip up the Law and Observatory - feeling like I was completely back to normal! By the time I got to work, not feeling well at all and came home at lunchtime! First sick day in almost 2 years :( grim.

SHI weekend

Individual - really enjoyed being orienteering :) big mistake at 2 (4-5min) then a few smaller mistakes but no big disasters! Lacking in racing mojo though.

Relay - decided to front-load the team in order to try and give our 20's a good headstart against the Irish! Fully expected Meg to come back 1st (and she did!) so I was prepared to be out on my own. Really really enjoyed this!! It was certainly scrappy but no big mistakes :) sent Evelyn off with a good lead but sadly not quite enough! Good team effort though :)

Also decided during the weekend not to run Ring of Steall :( a bit sad but also very relieved. Have been quite tired since Switzerland, gave everything to ultraks and training this year was all towards that one race. Have done a lot of long races and big volumes over the summer so am starting to feel drained - I think partly to blame for my lost racing mojo on Saturday, just didn't have the motivation to race despite quite enjoying myself!

Looking forwards more to just do some normal training :)
