Ring of Steall Skyrace! Wow! Brilliant!

Good steady start as per usual up the first climb.. really steep rocky descent into Glen Nevis meant my quads were knakered before half way! Steady away up the second big climb, across some pretty narrow, rocky ridges and scrambled up the last climb before a 40min descent to the finish :)

Paced it quite well i think, started really dying near the top of the last climb which was probably about right and felt better than in Andorra up the hills :)

Really enjoyed it! 8th, (2nd brit) and well within my 5hr target so really happy :)

Now - easy week doing whatever, 2 weeks in Australia to chill/run/eat and decide what I want to race next year and then back to some good training :) hoping I can do more long stuff in the hills - have missed it this past 12months due to various issues!
