QOC Turkey Run / South Fork at Prince William. Mostly ok but not very fast. Twisted the right ankle a bit before 16 and slowed some more.
Splits are posted.

A normal easy Saturday run. Just enough to get outside but not so far as to be far from a restroom or late for square dancing.

At NBC Health Fair in DC. 3:15-4:30. Capitol Squares had a demonstration and then there was instruction for anyone who wanted to learn.

Took Io back to school today where she got on the team bus and headed for the airport. She is off to Florida for a swim team training trip. I should be getting back to my normal schedule.

No time for running today even with another record high temp day. I have to spend some time at work working instead of going running and taking the work home.
At Boomerangs. 7:30-9:30. Today was graduation of the current classes. New classes start next week.

Adding a new category for disc golf since I have been playing so much. Using JJs method for recording 'ups' I will use 1 minute for each hole played so I will know how much I played but not inflate my training time to much. The distance will be the hole or course length if known or an estimate if not. I will retroactively change the golf sessions for this year to the new category and leave all the previous stuff alone.
First 12 holes at Burke Lake comparing the 176g and 150g Sharks. Did not find out much about the Sharks, but determined that I sucked. Could not putt at all today. Warm weather brought out everyone and the course was crowded.

According to the score card the first 12 holes are 2295 feet from the recreation tees. The pin location changes so that is probably not totally accurate but close enough. A little calculation gives 699.5 meters.

Iolanthe set up the Dance Dance Revolution during the day and did all the beginner level dances until they were passed with As, then started the light level. Of course she challenged me to demonstrate my lack of prowess. I was never booed off the stage at the beginner level and had scores from C to AA+. Had the record briefly with the AA+ but only briefly because Io immediately did it again and bettered my score. Tried one light level and got and E and one at the hardest level just to see what it was like. Lasted about 10 seconds.

30 degrees warmer today than on Saturday. Easy two miles at Burke Lake. The shin is not hurting but I can still feel something, just enough to make me nervous.

Still hoping to get to the pool with Iolanthe before she returns to school. Given a choice between dinner with Bev or the pool, she went for the dinner but we did go for a walk later.

Run was followed by 12 holes of disc golf using the Starfire distance driver and a new 150g Shark. My old Shark was 166g and my other new one 176g. Hoping to get more distance with the lighter one.
