EMPO Halloween Howl. Thatcher SP. Not a very good day. but most of the time lost was on #3 and #9 in the same part of the map. Stepped into one of the fissures on the way to 3 and banged my knee pretty hard as well as destroying any confidence at running thru the rocks. Took a SPW stopping to help Tom S. and Eric R. after Gari had a heart attack on the way to #16. Posted time is without the 56:30 spent there. Last 5 controls run with Tom.

CNYO Halloween Howl. Gilbert Lake SP NY. Ran 3rd leg of relay with Andy and Tom Strat. Not much head to head racing by the time I started. Got careless in the middle and lost a few minutes but ran ok. Only 10th in M45 standings, 12 seconds behind Tom. Got sick last night and had headache in the morning but felt ok by race time.

7am. Short run to loosen up for Halloween Howl this weekend. After emptying the car, packing, and paying all the end of month bills this was all I had time for.

At Advanced class 7:15-8, Capitol Squares 8-10. Calfs are still sore from yesterday.
