D2 was back along the Lochaber traverse E to W starting with Stob Ban and finishing up on the Ben - another 8 munros I believe. Clear blue skies in the morning, but thankfully enough breeze to keep the midges at bay and let us get some breakfast in peace! This was just another totally classic hill day which would be awesome in its own right. Feeling tired from D1 but fine for plodding steadily, and knee holding up ok although a wee bit sore. Surprised at how many people we met even early on, all out on overnighters. 3 new munros for me including both Aonachs and Carn Mor Dearg. Highlights were Spinks ridge and the CMD arête (stuck to the ridge rather than using the easier bypass path). Low point was undoubtedly cresting the Ben to see several 100 people and then trying to shuffle past them on the way back down the tourist path.
V tired by the end, but a bloody awesome weekend with great company! Total time over the two days ~21 hours with a lot of stopping. Would be easy to go a good bit quicker if not carrying all the camping kit.

2 day Tranter with ME - part 1. Not sure where to start with this.... just a totally epic day traversing the Mamores from W to E starting with Mullach nan Coirean and finishing with Sgurr Eilide Mor - 11 munros in total I believe, 4 of them new to me. Great conditions with enough cloud cover to keep the temperature down but plenty of cracking views to be had. Felt physically pretty good despite the heavy overnight packs we were carrying. Mostly took good routes apart from up through the forest at the start where we somehow lost the trod, and coming off Binnean Mor. Had been given some good advice on this but unfortunately a guy on the summit convinced M that we should take a different line . Ended up on some really shxxxy ground descending into a coire where we both slipped almost instantaneously. My right knee got left behind causing it to over extend causing quite some initial pain. Thankfully it settled down to work ok provided I didn’t push through hard on a big step-up. Faded a bit after that but managed to cover enough ground to set us up nicely for a slightly shorter second day. Challenges weren’t completely over though with an hour of complete midge hell as we were trying to make camp and get refuelled.

Pitfichie with RB, BS and SP. Stunning evening but feeling a bit spaced out and never really got into it. Decided to cut short and turn back after 5km. Need some energy for the weekend.

Loop round Glen Fearder from Aberarder. Out to Auchtavan then back from north side of Craig Leek. Lovely loop. Taking it steady and got sufficiently into a zen state that I had a bit of a panic at one point about where I was, then managed to miss a turn off a while later! Excellent.

Mis day. Put this off until late afternoon and debated skipping, but glad I got myself out in the end. Couple of laps of the woods with some added motivation by putting in an effort on a couple of segments and another climb. Legs a bit heavy.

Running hills 12:00 [5]

3 x efforts of ~4'. 2 easy crowns gained.
