Pre-breakfast trot along the bay and riverside at Inverkirkaig. Good start to the hols.

OWS 6:00 [3] 0.2 km (30:00 / km)

In Loch Culag. Crossed the neck of the Loch and made it back before getting hypothermia. Fun! And good for the legs hopefully.

Pressendye with KH. Straight to the top then west to the next top down to Easter Davoch and back by the road to Tarland. Gorgeous morning and good chat. Legs didn't feel too awful on the climb.

Hilly fartlek round Dess with 4 x 5-6' efforts on the hills. Trying to keep some form and not deteriorate into walk-run shuffle on the steeper bits. Great wee session - the training grounds behind our house are as good as anywhere.

Mingin! Lap of Potties out to west then back over the top, with J. Legs still heavy for climbing but ran the last bit of hill ok after giving myself a kick.

A few laps of the track at Huntly. Ankles were feeling a bit weak and had a couple of near crashes so called it a day before it was too late.
Also a fair bit of physical upper body stuff pushing kids down the tubing run.

Tuesday Jun 27, 2017 #

Running warm up/down 18:00 [2] 3.0 km (6:00 / km)

To start of intervals at Dinnet and short jog back after.

Running intervals 30:00 [5] 4.86 km (6:10 / km)

5x4'+2' with J on the DW from Dinnet. 2 out and 3 back. Was good to have someone to chase and distances were ok. Legs felt fine for this but would have struggled on any hills.

Dess woods out to the fields then cow shit alley and Bullivard loop. With J and E. First hill was terrible, then I seemed to go into autopilot but felt pretty spaced out.
