Feeling rubbish. Not enough sleep last night (can't blame the kids tho). Trying hard to block tiredness and thoughts about how far it was going to be
Orienteering race 1:45:00 [5]
Felt ok once I got going and nav was mostly pretty good. Missed a couple of mins on no 6 and don't think I went far enough round on the long leg. Then got really tired and had to focus hard to hold things together. Just about managed until the last few legs in the green when my brain had really gone. Brilliant course and really enjoyed the challenge. Tired now though.
Culbin middle distance blue. Raced off from the start without engaging brain then realised I had no idea how far I'd run to no 1. After that pretty clean. Bit of hesitation on the first one in the green and ran along the spur without seeing it. Tried to keep the tempo up but felt hard.
Back home from Ballater by the SDRd to Aboyne, then NDRd. A bit blustery but a nice tailwind. Legs feeling pretty good. 12 C warmer than yesterday = over-heating this time!
Took advantage of being up at Crathie for work to enjoy some upper Deeside trails. D****d chilly though... only realised afterwards that I had some gloves with me. Lovely autumn morning.

Running warm up/down 25:00 [2]
To the green and a briefer dynamic w-u than sometimes.
Running intervals 17:00 [5]
2 x ~2', 2 x ~1:15, 2 x ~1:00, 2 x ~0:50. All with 1' recovery between = 10' of effort. Didn't go with any intention of doing a proper session so it was ok, if a bit random.
