Mountain biking 1:20:00 [2] 18.0 km (4:27 / km) +100m 4:19 / km

Point bagging ride with J and E from the cp between Lochs K'ord and Davan south to cross the A93 and along track to the Haugh and river bank cp63. Continue to Cambus station then onto the road towards BoV. Loop in to the boardwalk cp58 then north towards Loch Davan. Road and track to the Logie Burn, walk in to cp71, then back to starting point.

Tech 10 no 8 at Inchmarnoch. Not really up for it, but no problems with nav.

Niggly pain in left heel, low down on inside. Noticed it for a few days. Hopefully will settle with some easy days from now.

Orienteering 1:45:00 [2] 10.5 km (10:00 / km) +415m 8:21 / km

Tech 10 no 7. Control hanging at Balmoral for WOC training. Took an age on the 3rd control - too high to begin with, then found it correctly but had to go a long way to check it rigorously and make myself happy it was right. No real problems after that. Such a great area with a lot of variety.

Orienteering 28:00 [2] 2.8 km (10:00 / km) +95m 8:33 / km

Followed up by a short loop of control hanging on Creag Choinnich.
Lunch at the Bothy well and truly earned. Hope WOC expenses will cover that.

Looking for time in the saddle rather than a tough workout, so... Home - Potties - S D Rd to Dinnet - BoV - Ordie - Dinnet and home by the A93. Logged as effort 2 but legs seemed pretty tired by the end.

Railway intervals at Dinnet with J. 8x2'+1'. 480m, 500, 490, 500, 500, 530, 540, 530. Av 3:55/km
First one felt stiff, but legs loosened up better once I got into them. Breathing not great. Pushing hard, trying to hold off J for as long as possible. Good session.

Jog to start of intervals and shuffle back from end.

Chasing kids round the woods. Managed to get them to collect in RHs tapes though.
