Getting impatient, so decided to try out a wee jog while E out at Crathes. Didn't feel great even on the flat and smooth. More patience required ;-(

Mountain biking 30:00 [2]

Almost skipped this. Feeling stiff and awkward in my back down into my legs - too much barrowing again - but thought that an easy spin might help ease things out. It didn't really.
Across the road to Drumnagesk, towards WHW back to White Cott, DW and home.

On the other hand a good stretch does seem to have helped ease things out.

Lap of Loch Kinord from Dinnet with E. Feeling a bit bleah so happy just to have a wee potter today. Looking out for ducklings and cygnets but they were all hiding.

Home to Potties, Ballogie, Finzean, Glen Dye loop, Strachan, F'side Inn, S Greens, Potties and home. Good ride. Corsedarder hill was tough but made it.

Felt quite hay-fevery today. Think the oil seed rape at Tarland last night set me off.

With J running, round Glen T, same route as Tues evening. Relaxed pedal for most of it, except the rough gently climbing section beyond the bridge when I had to work a bit to stay out front.

A blast out the ND Rd to Potties, SD Rd to Aboyne and back by the ND Rd. 48' track end to end for ~13 miles so not a bad pace for a rookie roadie. Wasn't too bad going against the 6pm traffic.

Round the old Tues Glen T interval route with E. Cleared up and turned into a lovely evening. Good ride, apart from puncturing coming down the last hill. Couldn't be bothered to stop and change it, so walked back from the chapel.

From home to Drumnagesk, WHW, along Tar Burn to Bell Wood, across at WWTW, onto r'way back to Dess station, into woods past IB and over the top.
Hardest part was getting myself out there.

Note

Tried a wee big of jogging at the after school club, but it really didn't feel good. Long way to go yet.
