Went for a w-u jog with J before Tyrebagger O. Set off on a blue, and within 100m of the start, after 10m in terrain, tripped and landed heavily on my side. Badly jarred my back, core, coccyx etc. Carried on for a bit in the hope that it would ease off, but it didn't.
I'm jinxed with this forest. Bum.
From Sarteano up to Pietraporciana (46') mostly by the tracks (one of my favourite routes here through some lovely oak wood etc.) then along the spur and down to La Foce. Feeling better running than I have for a while (apart from heavy legs) up to about 1hr when niggles started again (right foot and hip).
Really enjoyed it.
From just above San Casciano up the road to the start of the Monte Cetona ridge, towards Fonte Vetriano then left below the cliffs back to starting point. Did this as a buggy run 8 years ago - mad - but it made a good bike ride.
Rounded off with another soak in the thermal pools.
Walk up Monte il Castello (1414m) North of Arrezo. False start up the track shown on the map which disappeared into the undergrowth. Moved car along the road and found new signs up a quite different route. Some beautiful beech forest and lots of signs of cingiali including some great mud wallows, but no pigs out to play. Cloud down so no views. Out for ~3h
Walking around Civita di Bagnoregia then an adventure walk into the wilds of the calanchi down in the valley. Path a clay wallow and vegetation taking over, but we did see lots of cingiali :-)) and some 'wild' cattle. Only got a few km in 2h.

Short run out to the road and back when we got back to the house.
