Orienteering race 1:29:00 [5]
SOL at Wood of Easter Clune - short brown. Woke up feeling completely wiped out after the first good night's sleep in quite a few days, having finally put work stresses aside at least briefly. Thought about changing to a shorter course but had perked up by the time it came to run. Felt ok for the first 1/3rd or so, although I was Oing on auto-pilot. After missing at the far end of the open things went down hill and then made bad mistakes at several controls in a row. Considered jacking, but there was nice technical forest to come so I decided to stick it out. Not exactly a sparkling performance. Being positive at least hamstrings etc. didn't seem a problem.
Just need to try and get through this week, then there's two weeks holiday and chilling out to come.
