Eccup 10 - knew I couldn’t race Sharon (78 half) or Fiona (2:50 marathon) over this distance so quite happily settled into 3rd. Didn’t want to hurt too much as want to do intervals next week so just ran along at a nice comfy pace. Lovely route but soooo hot today.
Got annoyed at a man (who I caught up) who decided he was going to vocally coach me (“little steps” “let’s work to catch him”) over the last 2km and then take credit for my time. Thank you but I think you’ll find I was doing quite ok by myself(!) ;)
