Rare appearance at a long race!
Lovely course on Kilnsey (plus some jogging to the start).
Enjoyed it much more than I expected after some bad memories from the JK of sheltering in a depression(!) - probably because most of the time you could see exactly where to go, and it was very runnable, so I could happily just run in a straight line everywhere. Blisters reduced the fun to a hobble/walk for the last part of the course though.

40min was my max for hard surface running today & the course was too long to finish! A bit lazy at times but some good bits when I actually engaged my brain. Jogged back from the town centre.

Apperley Bridge Canter. Luckily I could happily chill at threshold pace the whole way. Very fun mixed terrain route, and my calf was happy :) Won a massage too which was most excellent! Good days work.

Calf test - felt like it was pulling and uncomfortable so cut the run short. Right decision not going to track today.
