Set off in glorious sunshine, 15 minutes later the sky turned black - cue thunder, lightning & possibly the heaviest rain I've ever been in! Could barely see anything, was absolutely loving it haha. Just so ridiculous I couldn't stop laughing. Then I got a bit lost on the way back & could hear some commentary so thought I'd go and check out what was happening. Popped out of the woods right on to the Tough Mudder course ahaha. Started getting directed up the hill & had to explain to the marshal that I was soaked to the skin & covered in mud out of choice and not actually in the race! All very surreal & not quite what I expected to find in the middle of the countryside!

Massive new parkrun PB :) :) :) yaaaaay :-)
So pleased considering that 20mins felt unachievable not that long ago. Big improvement from the 19:52 I did last time! Happy the hard work is finally starting to put in an appearance. Obviously still a long way to go to be on par with the others going for sub 18 times, but for me this was really a big step in the right direction.

Lunchtime ankle testing - some tightness in the very bottom of my shin / front of ankle but no pain or damage by the feel of things. Nice excuse to get out and about the fields.

Hardest spin class I've ever done! Worked really hard & loved it. Tweaked ankle a bit falling off a curb last night so need to be careful.
