Pre breakfast spin class. Felt tough - probably from having yesterdays spin still in my legs! Tried to keep the resistance high & really work hard.

Helping at the Frith Hill event & it was too nice not to actually do any orienteering. Just walked (on physio orders) but practising terrain visualisation, looking up for vegetation changes & having a good picture of the control circle. Certainly felt beneficial to get some map time in lovely forest. && also just really enjoyed being out on such a frosty day.

The gym was so empty this afternoon - had the whole spin studio to myself - so just cranked the tunes & powered out a good session.

Physio - she did some ankle mobilisation & thinks I should be okay to run in less than a week (phew!). Not too bad at all, just need to let all the swelling go first. The rest of me has also improved so the hours of physio exercises are paying off, even if I counteract them with clumsiness :)

Tester jog. No pain but definitely some discomfort there. Didn't feel quite right so no track tonight :-( Spinning was fully booked as well and didn't fancy just cross training with no direction/motivation so just used the evening to sort out neglected life things instead. Annoying that training things seem to be going wrong recently.

Fairly sure I'm still just as bad as I was several months ago. I guess some people are just built to never be flexible or strong!

Ankle now a fatty. It doesn't actually hurt too much, and I barely felt anything spinning, but it is not very flexible & I cannot stretch it at all.
