Greensand (Leith Hill) Half Marathon
Such a great day! Beaaautiful route.
Was really nervous about this all week but SO pleased that I did it. Proud I ran all the way to the top (hill training paying off!!) & paced myself well & even actually had fun :P
Did struggle with the last 3km & ran into a fence post I was so tired ahaha! Will probably be tempted back still even though I was in a world of pain when I finished :) Highly recommended.

Had a man attempt to tag along after he turned up & asked if I was also doing hill reps, but I think he decided I was a bit crazy when I just turned round at the top & kept running :)

Lunchtime loosener. Lovely route, lots of crunchy leaves to jump in. Shins feeling a tiny bit tender for the first 10mins which isn't a good sign before Sunday. Don't have a durable body so need to be careful!
