All sorts of various exercises - mostly cardio. Trying to be sensible, have an injury free winter for the first time ever, and not cripple my shins by getting carried away with the running. All seems to be on track so far for the grand getting fit again plan :-)

To Mapledurham along the lanes and back via the woods and golf course. Fell in a giant muddy hole, not impressed!

Only just made it thanks to silly trains stranding us in the excitement that is Theale station. So cold and annoyed!
Was good when I finally got there though. Lots of dynamic exercises. Massively rubbish at the ab roller or anything requiring shoulder muscles!! but actually quite good at some of the other things for once :)

Had a realisation on Sunday that I'm never going to be any good at long distance if I don't actually train for it! Forced myself out and once I got going it wasn't so bad. Came from Theale all the way along the canal back to Reading, and then an extra loop around the nature reserve.

Spin, row, and eliptical - mixing it up so I could have 20 mins hard on each one, crank up the resistance & not get bored. Actually quite enjoyed it.

Thera bands at the ready! Full set of physio exercises, core exercises, lower body conditioning, trying to get the right bits of my body working. Definitely need this in order to be more efficient in terrain.
