Edinburgh City Race!
Loved it, just my kind of thing, lots of little tricky urban legs and not too much dead running.
No shin pain :) Warmed it up well, think taking 2 days off running did wonders. Happy with my time, pretty much what I was hoping for position wise (about 1min behind Jo & Florence, just ahead of Kirstin & Rona). Glad to know I'm not too slow!
Good: Planning ahead (until I got tired), reading the control descriptions to avoid being caught out
Improve: A bit hesitant in places, so more confidence in knowing which direction to leave the control to improve flow & not loose those vital seconds. Manning up enough to actually run up steps!
