Orienteering warm up/down 20:00 [2] 2.0 km (10:00 / km)

Jog to start & drills

Orienteering 58:30 [3] 7.4 km (7:54 / km) +240m 6:48 / km

Blue course at Hutton Roof
Managed to slip on the wet rock and bash my spine right at the start so was mega overly cautious after that, walked every bit of rock - not the right time to take risks. Really need to get myself some dobs.
Navigation was good, actually used compass for once:) Not the most technical course though, a lot of path running.

Contour only course at Great Tower, visualised well but need to make sure to check exact location of control within circle!

Orienteering 33:00 [2] 3.6 km (9:10 / km)

Moor Top course, a bit grotty in places. Made sure I had a really definite plan for each leg and then tried to talk O it to myself without looking a map again. Went pretty well.

Jogged 7 controls of FwtN but shin was pretty bad on the roads so called it quits, only grass running for me in future

Cycle out into the Pentlands. Got very lost several times but just kind of made it up since I didn't know where I was. All the tracks were super muddy & flooded so it was really good fun, especially flying down the hills :)

Jogged down to the wrong start place! Did some drills beforehand & orienteered home again on a cool map of bruntsfield links

60sec rest between each interval
Felt AMAZING to finally be able to do some speed work :)
