Running & Planning weekend. Obviously can't run though, but some really useful talks about the season ahead, how to train all different aspects to compete well (physical, technical, tactical, mental & lifestyle), a good motivational talk from JD, physio. Really good to have all the squad together.

Went to see the podiatrist, really interesting stuff. Got my walking filmed & could see just how much my arch drops on the left side. My whole foot rotates inwards to overcompensate and my knee drops in over my big toe rather than stay aligned, so I get curvature in my leg & consequently loads of pressure on the shin.
Orthotics measured for & should be coming in 2 weeks. Lets get this solved!

Went to see Laura & now no more running or impact stuff for me... :(
Got podiatry appointment tomorrow now for new orthotics.
I actually hate my body, no matter how much I want to train it can never cope with anything. I just feel insanely frustrated, all I want to do is go for a nice long run in the pentlands or beast out some intervals or a bit of FwtN and now it's back to sitting on a bike for hours. Such fun, not.
