Note

Unfortunatley we were worried about getting snowed in so couldn't do the long-o at uath loachan or the sprint race round kinguisse :( shame.

Went for a walk instead. should maybe have gone running but i was freezing & getting ill from tiredness :(

Orienteering warm up/down 50:00 [2]

Jogged to keep warm && did a control pick course with Bex that was such a fail cos we got completely lost & almost missed my start cos of it!

Loch vaa middle distance course -

Well pleased with this, yeah i wasn't the fastest or anything but i naviagted really well for me. made sure to use my compass & simplify the contours. Only drifted off slightly on the long leg but i worked out where i was straight away with no need to relocate.
Was snowing & really cold too!! fun :)

Did a relay where there is 4 people in a team & 3 courses, each of which has to be done twice. So you have to decide who to send out on which ones to be the fastest - i did the long course in the mass start.
Ran the whole way with Hazel & Bex, was really fast out there & it was pretty exhausting. Quite pleased that I kept up & naviagted & didn't just follow or get distracted too much.

Just went for a wee hilly run between my exam & celebrating.
Aaah so glad i have finished for christmas. now i can focus on the things i want to :)

Did this 2 person thing with bex where you set off opposite ways on a 1km loop. One person runs fast the other jogs, when you reach each other you turn around & swop over running speeds. Did this so we both did 7 fast & 7 slow laps.
Had quite a bad stitch but was good.
